2024 Denver Reunion

October 16th to 20th, 2024

Who's up for another stand-alone 463rd Bomb Group Reunion?

As I’m sure you recall, in 2023 we joined the 15th Air Force for their reunion in Washington, DC. The attendance at our reunions had dropped to a level that we assumed people had lost interest in them. While the 15th reunion was a good time for all, many members expressed a desire to return to our traditional, stand-alone reunions. The Board of Directors listened and decided that we would have at least one more stand-alone reunion in Denver. Attendance at this reunion will determine if we continue to have future reunions on our own.

We will be visiting the Air Force Academy, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and the Wings over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. There will also be time for individual trips to sight see in Denver. The hotel is within shuttle distance of the Metro Train Station which will take you to many attractions in the greater Denver Area. There is so much to see in Denver that you’ll have trouble making up your mind! Be sure to join us at our reunion in Denver in October. Support the 463rd and future reunions!

Denver, the capital of Colorado, is a consolidated city and county. It serves as the financial, transportation, and distribution center of the Rocky Mountain region. A young, active city at the base of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Denver's stunning architecture, award-winning dining and unparalleled views are all here, year-round. By an amazing stroke of good luck, the 13th step on the west side of the Colorado State Capitol Building is exactly 5,280 feet above sea level — one mile high. In Denver's rarified air, golf balls go 10 percent farther. The Mile High City is also extremely dry, so it is a good idea to drink more water than usual. With less water vapor in the air at this altitude, the sky really is bluer in Colorado! The picturesque mountain panorama from Denver is 140 miles long. There are 200 visible named peaks including 32 that soar to 13,000 feet and above.

Hope to see you all in Denver in October!
