Today's tour takes us to the new
Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum
near Dulles Airport. It features
the large Boeing Aviation Hangar in which aircraft are displayed
on three levels. There are many WWII era aircraft on display as
well as those of more recent times including the SR-71
Blackbird. After lunch, we'll stop at Arlington National
Cemetery and visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the JFK
gravesite.
Something

Sunday, October 12: |
Meetings in the morning, but
plenty of time will be left for you to visit any of the many
memorials and museums on your own. Or better yet, take one of
many guided tours available in our nation's capital. Our banquet
will begin at 5:30 and special arrangements are being made for
both a guest speaker and entertainment.
Stay tuned for more details!

We suggest that you fly into Reagan
National Airport if at all possible because the hotel provides free
shuttle service to and from the airport. Flying into Dulles will
require you taking a shuttle or taxi. We are trying to work out
details on an arrangement with a shuttle service, but at this time a
shuttle will cost you anywhere
from $30 to $40 a person, and a cab will cost even more.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call Art Mendelsohn,
our Reunion Chairman, at 714-547-6651. Remember, Art is on the West
Coast and is four hours behind everyone on the East Coast!
Hope to see you and your families in
D.C. It should be a reunion to remember!!! |
