2022 New Orleans Reunion

New Orleans Itinerary

Wednesday, October 12th -  Group Registration will begin at 5:00 PM in our Hospitality Area (location in the hotel bar - hotel has free drinks and appetizers Monday through Thursday). Members will get a chance to socialize and pick up their registration packets. 

Thursday, October 13th - Free Day (See Below) 5:00 PM Hospitality area at the hotel bar. 

Friday, October 14th - Free Day (See Below)  

Saturday, October 15th- At 10:00 AM, the Board of Directors will meet. There will be no General Meeting; the results of the Board of Directors meeting will be shared at the Banquet dinner. The rest of the day will be “free” - allowing people to visit local attractions of their choice. Our banquet will begin with no host bar cocktail hour at 5:30 PM, with dinner beginning at 6:30 PM.  

FREE DAY - New Orleans is one of those rare cities where there is too much to do! Because of that, the Reunion Committee decided to allow members to choose their own destinations/attractions to visit. Our hotel is located three blocks away from the Julia Street Station of the Riverfront Streetcar. From there, most areas of interest are accessible—including The French Quarter, Canal Street, St. Charles Avenue, and the Riverbend area. Streetcars also go to the historic areas, graveyards, museums, the riverfront and many other locations. The streetcar system is easy, affordable and transfers are simple. Also, the World War II Museum is only a few blocks from our hotel and only a ten minute walk. All Reunion attendees will be given information regarding local attractions, including maps and directions to the streetcar system. Keep in mind, Uber and Lyft ride shares are also available, as are taxis and rickshaws! Any transportation options you choose will be cheaper per person  than it would be for the group to hire a bus and pass the cost on to you.

On Saturday the Board of Directors will meet at 10:00 AM. There will be no General Meeting; the results of the Board of Directors meeting will be shared at the Banquet dinner. Cocktails will be at 5:30 PM with our Saturday Night Banquet beginning at 6:30 PM.
